Research Interest: Novel MRI system technology; MR neuroimaging techniques and applications; Brain network and connectivity
Dr. Li-Wei Kuo received his B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University in 2001, 2003, and 2008, respectively. He conducted his postdoctoral researches in the Center for Optoelectronic Biomedicine at National Taiwan University College of Medicine and the Advanced MRI section at the Laboratory of Functional and Molecular Imaging in National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at National Institutes of Health in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Since September 2011, he has joined the Division of Medical Engineering Research (currently Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine, I-BEN) at National Health Research Institutes (NHRI). He is currently the Investigator at I-BEN, NHRI, and leads the MR NeuroImaging Lab. His research interests include the development of MRI systems, MR neuroimaging techniques, and exploration of brain networks.
